The United States of America was founded in 1776 when our founding fathers came together to write the Declaration of Independence. Then, the writing of our Constitution and Bill of Rights in 1787 set the foundations for our country.
Little did our founding fathers know the impact their actions would have on all the generations to come. I admire the attention to detail in these documents that perfected the country I love. I love the USA most for the opportunities and freedoms it provides for its citizens.
The desire by people from around the world to move here is derived from the American Dream, filled with freedom to do what you love and opportunities to see those dreams come true.
James Madison pushed for The Bill of Rights to be added to the Constitution to protect citizens individual rights and set a standard for permanent freedoms. The bill gives citizens the peace of mind of always having those human rights of individual freedom.
This living document gives the USA the opportunity to adapt to the changing culture around the world. It gives voices to the unheard, opportunities to minorities and freedom to all races, genders, denominations and ages of U.S. citizens.
Our nation provides such a vastness of opportunities that a citizen can work himself/herself from living on the streets or in a poor community to becoming a successful businessman/woman and a strong contributor to our economy. The USA is the greatest country in the world due to its freedom and opportunities sparking diversity among its citizens.
Our citizens have the freedom to be who they want to be, say what they want and do what they want (within the laws) without fear of repercussion from others. This great country gives opportunity to every class, race and gender of citizen without question. The USA gives everyone a chance to shine and live out their individual dreams.
This is why I love our country so much and will continue to all the days of my life.
