Geneva School of Boerne announced that Jeff Jones has stepped down as the Logic School headmaster to pursue other career opportunities.
Jones came to Geneva in 2017 “to give leadership to the faculty, staff and students in sixth through eighth grades,” a press release stated. “He provided much-needed support as the school has gone through the upheaval caused by social polarization, the COVID crisis and the student health and wellness subsequent aftereffects.”
“We are incredibly grateful for Jeff’s service to this institution and its families,” Geneva Head of School David Corbin said. “Schools across the country have been trying to reset after the trends of the last few years. There’s been a tremendous amount of pressure on educational administrators to adapt. Jeff worked hard in the trenches behind the scenes to help hold things together. His 20 years of experience in classical Christian education, steadfast loyalty and overall love for Geneva as a headmaster will be missed.”
The Jones family will remain a part of the larger Geneva community, the information stated. Jones’ wife, Autumn Jones, will continue to teach students in theater arts and drama, and their children will continue as students at GSB this fall. “I trust that God has a good plan for the next Logic School headmaster, and I will give a leadership update soon,” Corbin said. “I wish Jeff God’s good providence in his future endeavors.”
