Bandera Brewery, 3540 Highway 16 South in Bandera, is playing host to a Uvalde benefit from noon to 6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, June 4-5.
Information states the family-friendly event is a beer festival with all proceeds going to Uvalde State Bank’s Robb Elementary School Memorial Fund. Last Tuesday, May 24, a gunman killed 19 students and two teachers inside a fourth-grade classroom at the school.
More than 40 breweries, including some from Boerne, are scheduled to participate as are several businesses. Music will be provided by The Regimes, Jennifer D’Spain, the Without Image Band and the Dan Gonzalez Band.
Beer tickets will be on sale for beer from all breweries. Food also will be available. There will be raffles for items donated by local businesses, such as a private movie experience at Alamo Drafthouse, tools, art and more. There will be food and music during this family-friendly event.
