LAW ENFORCEMENT

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department, Kendall County Sheriff’s Department and the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT

January 1

6:28 p.m., 135 Old San Antonio Rd.- A woman reported a couple was fighting in the apartment complex, saying she could hear the woman crying and yelling for the past 20 minutes.

7:14 p.m., 100 block Katie Court- A woman suspected someone had been hacking her phone and listening to her phone calls. Officers gave her advice on possible cell phone hacking.

8:42 p.m., 100 block Ouray Dr.- A man wanted someone who was shooting off fireworks to stop.

Officers also conducted eight security checks, made 11 traffic stops, assisted the public seven times, removed two traffic hazards and worked nine false alarms, two non-injury accidents and two animal calls.

January 2

1:19 a.m., 1010 River Rd.- A woman reported her brother and sister-in-law were hitting her, but she was unable to provide much other information to dispatchers.

9:37 a.m., 100 block Rodalyn Dr.- A woman called 911 saying her boyfriend and she got into a fight, but a man took the phone and said she was fine before hanging up her phone. There was a history of disturbances at the address provided at the Alamo Fiesta RV park.

1:36 p.m., 100 block Rocky Path- A woman reported neighbors at the end of her street were setting off fireworks.

7:50 p.m., 100 block Ebensberger- A woman reported her ex-boyfriend was harassing her and refusing to leave her location. When deputies arrived seven minutes later, he was gone.

Officers also conducted six security checks, made nine traffic stops, assisted the public 17 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked eight false alarms, one non-injury accident, two animal calls and one reckless driver.

January 3

9:17 a.m., 200 block James- A woman found a bicycle at the Methodist Church and wanted to keep it if nobody claimed ownership.

12:46 p.m., 926 E. Blanco Rd.- The owner Lash Loft of Boerne reported someone took a check out of her check book and cashed it.

Officers also conducted 14 security checks, made 21 traffic stops, assisted the public 13 times, removed two traffic hazards and worked four false alarms, five non-injury accidents, one animal call and one reckless driver.

January 4

12:03 a.m., 39000 block I-10 W.- A driver became argumentative and combative with an officer during a traffic stop, so he was arrested and taken to the emergency room for an emergency detention.

10:59 a.m., Herff Road and Oak Park- A homeless woman often seen pushing a grocery cart threw a large rock at a man’s vehicle. She didn’t hit his truck, but he just wanted to report the incident.

4:32 p.m., 430 W. Bandera Rd.- A homeless woman was reported as being “passed out” on a bench in front of Walmart. Officers found she was just taking a nap and wasn’t breaking any laws or violating any ordinances.

10:04 p.m., 543 MM I-10 E.- A woman was arrested during a traffic stop.

10:43 p.m., 134 Menger Springs- A man brought in for an emergency detention due to homicidal ideations became combative with hospital staff.

Officers also conducted 18 security checks, made 32 traffic stops, assisted the public 15 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked three false alarms, three non-injury accidents and one reckless driver.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

January 1

11:06 a.m., Old Comfort Road- A man said his brother who now owned the property he was living on was removing his belongings. He said he was served an eviction notice, but he said state law granted him more time to move.

4:38 p.m., 40800 block I-10 W.- A man was concerned about his neighbors three dogs who were tied up outside because it was set to freeze that night. His neighbors were out of town.

8:19 p.m., 100 block Hwy 46 W.- A woman was concerned about people shooting fireworks over the state highway. She was afraid it would cause a traffic hazard.

Deputies also made 21 traffic stops, assisted the public 10 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked two false alarms, one non-injury accident, three animal calls and one reckless driver.

January 2

7:49 a.m., 100 block Northview Dr.- A woman came home the night before to find her front door open. Deputies searched the home and her barn, and no signs of burglary were identified.

3:11 p.m., Old Comfort Road- A man requested a deputy standby while he retrieved his property from a home. The homeowner refused to let him on the property, so a deputy advised him to file with the justice of the peace to reenter the property and retrieve his belongings.

6:32 p.m., 200 block Post Oak St.- A man reported his 15-yearold stepson was acting out, saying he pulled a knife out. The stepfather was able to get the knife from the boy before he left the house.

10:18 p.m., 43000 block I-10 W.- A former employer of A Jay Allee, the man arrested several times for allegedly videotaping guests at a Comfort Airbnb, let deputies know that Allee called him to say he changed his number and was moving to Houston. This concerned the former employee, as he understood Allee was out of jail on bond.

Deputies also conducted a security check, made 13 traffic stops, assisted the public 10 times and worked four false alarms, two animal calls and three reckless drivers.

January 3

10:17 a.m., 100 block Diamond Ridge- A man reported an 18-wheeler was blocking traffic, causing vehicles to back out onto State Highway 46.

2:37 p.m., 400 block FM 473- Four bags of trash were left on the busy road.

5:18 p.m., 522 MM I-10 E.- A woman reported seeing a man beating up a passenger in a vehicle at a gas station in Kerr County. She was now following the vehicle on the interstate. Deputies located the driver and found his kids were just not getting along, but no disturbance had occurred.

5:54 p.m., 100 block River Ranch Rd- A man reported his good friend’s ex-wife was circling his neighborhood even though she was previously advised not to be near his home.

Deputies also made 26 traffic stops, assisted the public 23 times, removed two traffic hazards and worked three false alarms and three reckless drivers.
