LAW ENFORCEMENT

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT

 March 19 

7:02 a.m., 100 block of E. Blanco Road – A caller reported a vehicle going well below the speed limit and was going into oncoming traffic. 

9:40 a.m., mile marker 540 of W. I-10 – A caller reported the base of a basketball hoop was in the road, causing a traffic hazard. 

12:05 p.m., 800 block of Johns Road – A caller reported his vehicle was stolen during the night. 

1:52 p.m., on Tilbury Boulevard/Regent Drive – A caller reported “No Dumping” signs were removed from the location and people had begun dumping items there. 

March 20 

6:41 a.m., 37000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported vandalism to the bathrooms at Northrup Park. 

2:26 p.m., 200 block of Winding River – A caller reported receiving a call from someone who he believed to be a scammer.  

2:27 p.m., 1000 block of Diamond Drive – A caller came into the BPD lobby to report harassment. 

3:16 p.m., 1600 block of River Road – A caller reported her gun was stolen sometime in the 24 hours before her call. 

March 21 

6:27 a.m., 500 block of Oak Park – A caller was worried about someone in his backyard. The caller said his dog was barking, and was concerned because he had tools back there. Law enforcement came to the location and found everything was secure. 

10:11 a.m., at Herff Road and Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported a vehicle on the side of the road with an empty driver’s seat, but someone in the passenger seat. 

11:04 a.m., 100 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported finding a zip tie on her front tire. 

7:38 p.m., 1500 block of S. Main Street – A caller was concerned about a vehicle following her. As the caller was speaking with dispatch, the other vehicle turned in a different direction and the caller disconnected. 

March 22 

11:06 a.m., 100 block of Giverny – A caller wanted to speak with an officer about his vehicle being broken into the previous night. 

4:28 p.m., at Main Street/Theissen Street – A caller reported her daughter was involved in a vehicle collision, but the other driver drove away. Law enforcement searched the area for the other vehicle and were successful. 

5:10 p.m., 100 block of Mission Lake – A caller reported a male and a female attempted to open the caller’s front door. 

March 23 

4:45 a.m., 200 block of Ryan Street – A caller reported someone was walking around the area, looking in windows.  

7:22 a.m., 1300 block of River Road – A vehicle was involved in an accident with a cyclist. EMS was called to the location. 

3:01 p.m., 800 block of Johns Road – A caller reported a male at the location was blocking the caller’s vehicle and saying he was going to kill him. 

5:57 p.m., 700 block of Oak Park – A caller reported a male had been parked in front of the location for over 24 hours. The male was detained and a probable cause search was conducted.  

March 24 

No reports received for this date.  

March 25 

12:37 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported two vehicles parked in handicapped spots that did not have handicap tags. Law enforcement came to the location and found one of the vehicles had moved and the other vehicle had laid the tag on their dashboard. 

4:35 p.m., 300 block of Esser Road – A two-vehicle collision occurred in the parking lot. The caller said she suspected the other driver involved “was high”. Law enforcement came to the location and detained a male. 

6:28 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported a motorist struck her vehicle and drove away. The caller said she did not see the accident, but someone relayed the information to her. 

9:54 p.m., 100 block of W. Blanco Road – An employee was concerned about a gas leak from an adjoining business. Boerne F.D. came to the location and did not find any leaks. 

Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department 

March 17 

-- Officers assisted EMS with a matter on Turf Paradise Lane. 

-- An animal call was made on Rocking Horse Lane for an injured deer. 

-- Law enforcement assisted the public with a matter on W. I-10. 

March 18 

-- Miscellaneous activity was reported on Rocking Horse Lane. 

-- An animal call was made on Fair Oaks Parkway. 

March 19 

-- A vehicle collision was reported on Dietz Elkhorn and Summit Ridge. 

-- A traffic hazard was reported on Ammann Road and Rolling Acres Trail. 

-- Two loose dogs were reported on Jodhpur Drive. 

-- Officers assisted local residents on Fair Oaks Parkway, Grand Turf and Dietz Elkhorn.  

-- A deer call was made to Dietz Elkhorn. 

-- Lost property was reported on Softwind Circle. 

March 20 

-- A loose dog was reported to be roaming around Wild Oak Hill. A city ordinance violation was reported on Leslie Gate. 

-- A verbal disturbance was reported on Sweetwind Circle.  

March 21 

-- A missing dog was located on Dew Ridge. 

-- Officers assisted the public on Dietz Elkhorn Road and at the intersection of Saddle Song and Dietz Elkhorn. 

March 22 

-- An injured deer was reported on Flagstone Hill Drive. 

-- Officers assisted EMS on Falls Terrace and Fair Oaks Parkway.  

-- A traffic hazard was reported on Keeneland Drive. 

-- A vehicle collision was reported on Ammann Road. 
March 23 

-- An injured deer was reported on Furtoso Way.  

-- A welfare check was done on Pimlico Lane. 

Kendall County Sheriff’s Office 

March 19 

12:37 a.m., mile marker 537 of W. I-10 – A male was detained and into custody after a traffic stop. A tow truck came and took the vehicle. 

1:03 a.m., mile marker 524 of W. I-10 – A caller was concerned about a body that appeared to be lying in the road. Law enforcement came to the location and found that it was a homeless individual, but he was physically OK. 

8:06 a.m., at Highway 46/Ammann Road – Two peacocks were parading the area on their way to breakfast. 

8:21 a.m., 200 block of Dulce Vista – A home builder reported that around $750 worth of materials was stolen from a construction site. 

March 20 

10:02 a.m., mile marker 540 of W. I-10 – A caller reported a white vehicle going under the speed limit and swerving across the road. The caller said the driver appeared to be slumped over. Law enforcement located the vehicle and found that the driver was not intoxicated but was having muscle spasms. 

4:01 p.m., on Staudt Street – A caller reported her husband was on the way to Boerne under false premises. The caller said he had received a fraudulent text, with the caller demanding $9,000. 

5:47 p.m., 10 block of Ammann Road – A caller reported a loose dog in the area that didn’t have a collar. 

March 21 

12:10 a.m., on N. Highway 87 – A caller reported a homeless male in the area who smelled like alcohol and was asking people where he could get crystal meth. 

12:36 a.m., N. Highway 87 – A caller reported a male who was disturbing customers, talking to himself and standing in the middle of the road. 

7:19 a.m., at Joe Klar/Clubs Drive – A caller reported a male at the gate who parked and then walked into the location. The caller said a second male left the location. 

7:41 a.m., 700 block of Rosewood – A male suspected in human trafficking violations was being actively pursued. Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved and the male was located and detained. 

March 22 

7:10 a.m., 200 block of Cascade Caverns Road – A caller reported a motorist was acting oddly, stopping the vehicle at random points in the parking lot. 

8:31 a.m., Mezcaya Trail – A caller reported black smoke coming from behind the caller’s home. Boerne F.D. was called to the location. An ambulance was also called to the location. 

10:16 a.m., 20 block of Ammann Road – A caller reported a skittish dog running around the area. 

2:13 p.m., 200 block of High Street – A caller reported someone illegally dumping in the dumpster at the location. 

March 23 

1:41 a.m., mile marker 538 of W. I-10 – A male was detained after a traffic stop and a tow truck arrived to take possession of the car. 

11:17 a.m., 10 block of S. Front Street – Two horses were making their way down the road, looking for a brunch spot. 

3:11 p.m., mile marker 542 of E. I-10 – A male, pulled over for a traffic stop, resisted arrest and was fighting the arresting deputy. 

3:27 p.m., 1300 block of River Road – A caller reported a vehicle at the front entrance with a crate of puppies for sale. 

March 24 

8:53 a.m., at Old #9/Kallenberg-Klinksiek Road – Some black cows were reported to be in the road, causing a traffic issue, as traffic couldn’t moo-ve. 

9:34 a.m., 100 block of Kendall Ridge – A caller requested assistance with a trapped armadillo. 

10:49 a.m., 364 block of Sentido – A caller reported materials for his roof had been stolen on Friday night. 

1:57 p.m., mile marker 531 of W. I-10 – A caller reported an 18-wheeler intentionally struck the caller’s vehicle. Two suspects were detained. 

1:59 p.m., 100 block of Park Ridge – A caller reported someone had tried accessing his bank account. 

March 25 

3:55 a.m., 500 block of E. Highway 46 – A caller reported an SUV was stopped in the middle of the road. 

8:33 a.m., 100 block of N. FM 3351 – Two cows were having a faceoff on the opposite sides of the road. 

9:47 a.m., on Staudt Street – A caller reported his credit card was compromised a month prior and almost $2,000 had been spent on the account.
