LAW ENFORCEMENT
The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. March 28
5:59 a.m., 607 E. Blanco Rd.- A homeless was person was spotted sleeping on the floor at the front door of Prestige Carpet.
11:40 a.m., 124 Old San Antonio Rd.- A sexual offense committed in Boerne was reported at the police station.
1:04 p.m., Market and Main streets- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
3:01 p.m., 300 block Hickman- A woman sold her paddle board at a garage sale, and she now was claiming the buyer was harassing her, showing up at her home earlier that day.
4:39 p.m., 200 block Johns Rd.- An 8th-grade boy came home and told his mom another student threatened to shoot up the school.
Officers conducted 27 security checks, made 18 traffic stops, assisted the public 18 times, removed three traffic hazards and worked five false alarms, seven non-injury accidents, one animal call and three reckless drivers.
March 29
1:11 a.m., 100 block Hampton Run- A woman reported her 14-year-old son was throwing things around the house and put trash on her vehicle.
5:50 a.m., 135 Old San Antonio Rd.- A woman was sick of her upstairs neighbor’s dogs waking her up every morning.
6:52 a.m., Blanco and Oak- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
9:37 a.m., 124 E. Bandera Rd.- An older man was seen pleasuring himself in his Nissan Pathfinder.
5:41 p.m., 451 N. Main St.- A rogue urinal wouldn’t stop running upstairs.
Officers conducted 29 security checks, made 14 traffic stops, assisted the public 21 times, removed four traffic hazards and worked one false alarm, three non-injury accidents and two reckless drivers.
March 30
11:03 a.m., 200 block Hickman- A woman who has reportedly called 911 claiming her adult son was on drugs thought she found a substance in his room that may have been narcotics.
11:08 a.m., 32950 I-10 W.- An employee reported someone broke into a storage unit and mailboxes at the storage facility.
3:41 p.m., 121 Old San Antonio Rd.- A woman reported third hand information that one student strangled another student, but the victim didn’t want to file a report.
4:52 p.m., 601 W. Bandera Rd.- An employee was upset with a homeless woman for taking a bath in the bathroom sink, saying the woman had been caught sleeping outside the business before.
5:324 p.m., 543 MM I-10 E.- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop, and their dog was picked up by animal control.
8:22 p.m., 500 block Johns Rd.- A vehicle was driving down the busy road and knocking over trash and recycling bins.
Officers conducted 19 security checks, made 21 traffic stops, assisted the public 17 times, removed three traffic hazards and worked one false alarm and eight non-injury accidents.
April 1
7:04 a.m., 121 Old San Antonio Rd.- A woman reported her 14-year-old daughter was shoved by a 17-year-old male student the day before.
11:29 a.m., 124 Old San Antonio Rd.- A sexual offense was reported in Boerne.
1:33 p.m., 440 W. Bandera Rd.- A man reported a dump truck struck one of his awnings and drove off.
3:04 p.m., 1681 River Rd.- A woman turned into police a photo of a nude juvenile she found in her apartment when she moved in.
7:37 p.m., 100 block Michelle- A resident wanted police to know they found a dead opossum in their garage.
7:38 p.m., 200 block Jolie Circle- A father wanted to report a hate crime because a neighbor’s child wrote “you are ugly” in chalk on the sidewalk in front of her home.
Officers also conducted 25 security checks, made 15 traffic stops, assisted the public 14 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked five false alarms, four non-injury accidents, two animal calls and three reckless drivers.
April 2
2:02 p.m., School Street and I-10 W.- The lights at the intersection of Bandera Road and State Highway 46 weren’t cycling.
2:02 p.m., 451 N. Main St.- A library employee said someone kept calling the library, asking for a specific employee then saying derogatory things to them before hanging up.
2:56 p.m., 100 block Serenity- A woman wanted to report fraudulent lottery tickets she bought at a local gas station.
6:43 p.m., 537 MM I-10 E.- A man was arrested after a woman reported he was swerving and unable to maintain lanes while driving his pickup truck.
8:51 p.m., 100 block Old San Antonio Rd.- A woman reported three Hispanic teenage boys were standing on her front porch who were eventually joined by two girls. Officers didn’t see what she was talking about but located a barbeque.
9:36 p.m., 100 block July Lane- A woman first reported her son was suicidal, saying he was going to commit suicide by cop after pulling out a machete. He left the home, but he was arrested after returning and making threats to cut his mother in half with the same machete.
Officers conducted 36 security checks, made 29 traffic stops, assisted the public 25 times, removed two traffic hazards and worked one false alarm, three non-injury accidents, one animal call and four reckless drivers.

March 28
4:47 a.m., 100 block July Lane- A woman reported her 42-year-old son was wandering around on drugs and talking to people who weren’t there. When deputies located him, he seemed fine and said he as under a doctor’s care. The mother called back later saying he fell off a ladder, so first responders transported him to the emergency room.
8:09 a.m., Joe Klar Road and Hwy 46 E.- A white car pulled out in front of a silver SUV. The two vehicles collided, resulting in one passenger being airlifted to University Hospital.
11:35 a.m., 800 block Ranger Creek Rd.- A man found a red Ford parked at the entrance of his gate, and the driver was passed out with beer cans all around the vehicle. Deputies found the driver wasn’t intoxicated but just resting.
5:26 p.m., 25 FM 3351 S.- An employee at the Bergheim Pet Hospital and Clinic was bit on the thigh and buttocks by two dogs. She declined emergency services.
7:28 p.m., 30 block Mariposa Parkway- A mother felt her neighbor overreacted when they yelled at her 10-year-old son after his dog defecated in their yard, and the young boy didn’t pick it up.
Deputies conducted a security check, made 23 traffic stops, assisted the public 22 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked five false alarms, three non-injury accidents, three animal calls and two reckless drivers.
March 29
8 a.m., 2900 block FM 473- A man reported his work truck was stolen.
8:16 a.m., 300 block Idlewilde Blvd.- A woman found pictures of a man’s genitals on her 10-year-old daughter’s phone.
3:09 p.m., 100 block Mountain Top Trail- A man reported his tenant got upset and fired his pistol into the ground several times when he couldn’t pay rent. He then went back to work at H.W. Schwope and Sons.
10:42 p.m., 524 MM I-10 E.- A semitruck overturned on the interstate, causing the end of the truck to hang off the edge of the bridge while the cab remained in the roadway.
Deputies made 19 traffic stops, assisted the public 15 times, removed two traffic hazards and worked four false alarms, two non-injury accidents and one animal call.
March 30
9:17 a.m., 45 Shooting Club Rd.- A woman reported a former employee was harassing her. Deputies contacted the former employee who said they would stop contacting the woman.
11:17 a.m., 300 block FM 474- A woman reported someone stole $2,000 worth of perfume and a $5,000 doll.
12:12 p.m., 600 block Third St.- A mother was upset, claiming her son was being harassed and bullied at school. She spoke with the school’s officer who said they couldn’t do anything. As it turns out, the school officer said a teacher saw the mother’s son punch a student who then pushed him back and scratched his face. The mother said the teacher was lying and wanted to file assault charges. A deputy told her it would be handled at the school level, so she said she’d contact her attorney.
5:24 p.m., 543 MM I-10 E.- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
7:45 p.m., Chaparral Hill Drive- A woman reported her 17-year-old son was being extorted on Instagram by someone sending out photoshopped sexually explicit photos to other Boerne High School students.
Deputies made 21 traffic stops, assisted the public 18 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked three false alarms, one animal call and three reckless drivers.
April 1
12:32 p.m., 400 block Starlit Circle- A woman wanted information about her rights to stay at a home, saying she was having issues with some of the property owners but not all of them.
7:32 p.m., FM 473 and Hwy 87 N.- A six-foot patch of oil or black tar was spilled at the intersection of the two state-maintained roads, causing vehicles to slip and slide. The Comfort Fire Department poured absorbent material for a temporary solution, but TxDOT was notified of the spill.
9:52 p.m., 100 block N. Wagon Wheel Dr.- A young girl called 911 at the direction of her father. The father and the girl’s sister got into an altercation after the sister took sleeping medication and tried to leave in a vehicle with her 3-year-old daughter.
Deputies made 16 traffic stops, assisted the public 18 times, removed four traffic hazards and worked three false alarms, two animal calls and two reckless drivers.
April 2
10:12 a.m., 43 Hwy 87 N.- A truck driver stole a phone headset from the Love’s Travel Stop. Deputies checked all the way to the Kerr County line for the truck with “On Time” written on the cab door, but they couldn’t locate the 18-wheeler. Kimble County was notified.
11:46 a.m., 300 block Los Indios Ranch Rd.- A man wanted to know if a gun he bought was stolen.
2:30 p.m., 100 block Ten West Dr.- A woman became concerned after her ex-husband dropped off their kids when he said, “Don’t worry. I’ll make sure they die painfully.” When deputies reached out to him, he seemed in good spirits and said, “he can kill evil people.” Deputies gave him information on who to contact for his mental health crisis.
4:18 p.m., 537 MM I-10 W.- A man reported a flatbed truck was driving down the interstate with eight people in the bed of the truck, including four adults and four children.
7:17 p.m., 100 block Sunrise Dr.- A man initially reported a bullet came through the window of his home, but a few minutes later he calmed down and figured he might call his insurance because it could’ve been a bird or something else.
10:34 p.m., 1693 River Rd.- A van transporting passengers to Fredericksburg broke down on River Road, and a passenger called for deputy assistance should they need a safety escort.
Deputies made 40 traffic stops, assisted the public 20 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked two false alarms, one non-injury accident, one animal call and four reckless drivers.
