LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT 

March 5 

9:54 a.m., on Esser Road/Blanco Road – A caller reported a two-vehicle collision occurred earlier that morning. 

11:57 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported an aggressive driver was brake-checking him. The caller said he attempted to get away from the vehicle, but the vehicle continued to follow him. 

5:25 p.m., on Herff Road/Old San Antonio Road – A two-vehicle collision was reported. Luckily no injuries were reported and the vehicles were not blocking traffic. 

7:46 p.m., 1000 block of E. Blanco Road – A caller said a male who “did not look right’ was walking toward the high school. Law enforcement was unable to locate the male when they came to the location. 

March 6 

6:39 a.m., 31000 block of W. Interstate 10 – A caller reported a male at the back of the store was trying to pick a fight with the caller.. 

9:29 a.m., 700 block of River Road – An employee reported a non-resident had dumped “a lot of items” in their dumpster. 

1:38 p.m., mile marker 540, W. I-10 – A caller reported two males walked in front of her vehicle on the interstate.  

10:33 p.m., 600 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported receiving a credit card statement with a $2,000 purchase the caller said they did not make. 

March 7 

1:49 a.m., on Blanco Road/Main Street – A probable cause search was conducted on a male, who was detained and taken into custody. 

6:24 a.m., 100 block of Copper Creek – A caller reported a vehicle parked near the entrance that was not normally there. It was suspected that the vehicle had stalled the previous day. 

1:00 p.m., 200 block of Menger Springs – A caller reported hearing gun shots coming from behind her house. 

4:20 p.m., 100 block of Clear Sky – A caller reported a group of individuals dropped off a dog and abandoned it there. 

7:28 p.m., 100 block of Bluebonnet Circle – A caller reported a male had started banging on the caller’s apartment door as soon as he arrived home. The caller said the male quickly left and even drove through a red light in his departure. 

March 8 

8:12 a.m., 100 block of Clear Sky – A caller reported a dog, matching the description of the abandoned dog, running loose in the area. Law enforcement attempted to catch the dog but were unsuccessful. Animal control was contacted. 

10:51 a.m., 100 block of Cimarron Creek – A caller reported an ex-girlfriend was continually harassing him. The caller said he already had a criminal trespass against her, but she was still showing up. 

1:30 p.m., mile marker 540, E. I-10 – An individual was detained after a probable cause search and a sobriety test was administered. A tow truck was called for the driver’s vehicle. 

7:46 p.m., 100 block of Lattimore Lane – A caller reported a pest control vehicle was going around and harassing people. 

March 9 

1:56 p.m., 100 block of Bentwood – A caller reported issues with a neighbor who pulled a taser on the caller’s husband after an issue with their dogs. 

3:45 p.m., 200 block of Winding River – A caller was concerned about three individuals in the subdivision starting a fire, despite the red flag warning. 

6:04 p.m., 300 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported two people walking through her backyard. Law enforcement located the individuals, informed them it was private property, and they left without issue. 

11:36 p.m., 37000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported hearing three gunshots coming from the apartments in the area. The caller suspected they had come from the park. 

March 10 

10:38 a.m., 100 block of Krieg – A caller reported a male driving around, trying to sell pest control services. 

12:52 p.m., 100 block of Teleford – A caller reported she had been harassed on social media for the past three weeks. 

1:09 p.m., on Herff Road/Main Street – A caller reported she had seen a motorist hit another vehicle, park, and walk away. 

1:57 p.m., 800 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported someone tried breaking into the location with a crowbar, damaging the locks. The caller said van tires had all been flattened.  

March 11 

6:32 a.m., mile marker, W. I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle swerving all over the road. The caller said the erratic driver’s speed was fluctuating and the car almost hit the median. 

11:52 a.m., 100 block of Cimarron Creek – A caller reported her backyard gate and fence had been broken and various items around her backyard had been moved. 

1:16 p.m., 100 block of Menger Springs – A security guard reported a male walking around the parking lot, trying to open vehicle doors. 

1:26 p.m., 1400 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported receiving threatening messages since earlier this morning. 

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

March 5 

10:27 a.m., mile marker 539, E. I-10 – A caller reported seeing a vehicle hit a deer. The caller said the deer was blocking a lane of traffic, but the motorist appeared OK. The vehicle was undriveable and needed a tow truck. 

11:22 a.m., 400 block of W. Highway 46 – A caller reported a vehicle with out-of-state license plates was speeding on the interstate. 

11:23 a.m., 500 block of Roosevelt Avenue – A caller reported loud music coming from a neighboring residence since 8 a.m. Law enforcement came to the location and didn’t hear anything. 

11:43 a.m., on Breeze Way – A caller requested assistance from animal control with stray cats on his property. 

March 6 

2:58 a.m., 800 block of High Street – A caller reported a suspicious vehicle had driven from a parking lot to a street and then turned off their headlights. 

7:20 a.m., on Voss Parkway – A caller reported a male put a GoPro camera on a street sign. It was found that the camera was approved and going to be used as a monitoring device. 

2:00 p.m., 100 block of Village Cove – A caller reported smelling electrical wires burning inside her house. Boerne F.D. responded to the situation. 

4:25 p.m., 400 block of E. Highway 46 – A caller reported a vehicle hit hers, then continued driving. 

11:57 p.m., 1000 block of E. Highway 46 – A group of cattle were going for a midnight stroll.  

March 7 

7:33 a.m., 100 block of Flat Rock Creek Road – A loose horse was roaming around, looking for some free breakfast. 

10:54 a.m., on Staudt Street – A caller reported receiving a call from someone claiming to be with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, demanding money. 

11:14 a.m., on Staudt Street – Another caller reported an individual impersonating a KCSO deputy had solicited them for money. 

11:19 a.m., on Staudt Street – A third caller reported the same scam caller impersonating a KCSO contacted him as well. 

7:46 p.m., 200 block of Grazing Meadow – A construction manager reported he suspected people were trespassing and stealing from the location. Law enforcement came to the location and found the individuals were there working. 

March 8 

10:22 a.m., 20 block of W. Highway 46 – A caller reported a truck towing a trailer almost hit their vehicle and was swerving all over the road. The neighboring county’s law enforcement was notified. 

11:16 a.m., mile marker 535, E. I-10 – A grass fire was reported on the side of the interstate. Boerne F.D. was dispatched to the location. 

2:54 p.m., mile marker 537, W. I-10 – A caller reported a driver lost control of a vehicle and spun around multiple times in the median. The vehicle drove off but was located by law enforcement. 

5:44 p.m., 1800 block of Sleepy Hollow – A caller reported his neighbor was doing some landscaping and bulldozed trees on the caller’s fence line. 

March 9 

12:17 a.m., 32000 block of E. I-10 – A vehicle was pulled over for a traffic stop and a field sobriety test was conducted. 

3:29 a.m., 1000 block of N. FM 3351 – Two donkeys were loose, reportedly enjoying the first weekend of Spring Break. 

2:46 p.m., 200 block of Fandango – A caller reported a male was filling a truck with lumber. The caller said the vehicle left the location and was quickly driving away. Law enforcement later detained the male. 

5:24 p.m., 300 block of River Ridge – A caller reported a service dog had wandered onto his property. 

March 10 

8:44 a.m., 300 block of Kendall Woods Drive – A caller reported her trash can had been missing since the previous week. 

11:09 a.m., 300 block of River Ridge – A caller reported she had several chickens and two goats that had been killed but not eaten. 

3:59 p.m., 10000 block of Johns Road – A caller reported a raccoon had been hit but appeared to still be alive. 

5:20 p.m., FM 1376/N. School Street – A two-vehicle collision occurred. A caller said their airbags deployed, and they had suffered a hand injury. A wrecker was needed for the vehicle. 

March 11 

1:26 p.m., on Staudt Street – A caller reported a contractor stopped working on her house. The caller was referred to the Justice of the Peace. 

5:34 p.m., 100 block of Dresden Wood – A caller reported a dog, shaved and sunburned, appeared to be lost. Animal control was contacted and retrieved the dog. 

5:47 p.m., 32000 block of E. I-10 – An employee reported receiving threats over the phone.  

9:21 p.m., 200 block of Waring Welfare – Three dogs were running around the area, enjoying the nice Spring Break weather.
