LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT

FEBRUARY 26

7:22 a.m., Herff Ranch/River Road – Officers provided assistance to a motorist who was on the way to a construction zone.

8:49 a.m., Shooting Club Road – A caller reported that someone had broken into her apartment and stolen important papers.

12:27 p.m., 2000 block of Grand Loop – A caller wanted to report scam phone calls.

1:14 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – An employee reported he had found three vape pens on a juvenile.

FEBRUARY 27

8:02 a.m., 10 block of Scenic Loop – Three vehicles were involved in a collision; the caller was injured, and an ambulance was called.

10:22 a.m., 200 block of E. Blanco Road – A caller reported a suspicious male who had been coming to the location a lot recently.

12:44 p.m., 200 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported he had shipped wedding rings from the location but when they arrived, the package had been tampered with.

5:20 p.m., 100 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported a male in the area who appeared to be trying to get into vehicles.

6:17 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported she was getting harassed and threatened online.

FEBRUARY 28

7:45 a.m., 200 block of FM 1376 – A caller reported a dog running around the area and told dispatch the direction the dog was headed.

11:10 a.m., on Bandera Road/Main Street – A multi-vehicle collision was reported. One of the occupants was already reported to have a cast on her wrist. A wrecker was called for one of the vehicles involved.

11:25 a.m., 1000 block of Diamond Drive – A caller reported her wallet had been stolen from the location.

12:41 p.m., 200 block of E. Blanco Road – A caller reported a male at the location who was acting oddly and had been at the location the day before. The caller was advised to contact law enforcement if the male returned.

2:51 p.m., on James/Main Street – A caller reported a male who was trying to open doors on multiple vehicles in the area.

MARCH 1

12:53 a.m., 800 block of N. Main Street – An employee reported two individuals who had been loitering at the store for several hours.

10:41 a.m., 31000 block of W. Interstate 10 – A caller reported he took his car to a dealership; however, when he went to pick up his vehicle several weeks later, it was gone. The caller said the dealership also did not know where the vehicle was.

12:03 p.m., 100 block of Oak Knoll – A caller reported someone ripped his flag down and left a bowl of cat poop.

7:43 p.m., 100 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported a male who was dumpster diving and walking around the building.

MARCH 2

1:57 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported a vehicle was following him and seemed to be driving aggressively.

4:48 p.m., 600 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported someone was selling puppies in the area. Law enforcement located the individuals and reminded them of the city ordinance.

6:40 p.m., 1700 block of River Road – A goat was reported to be outside of a storage unit. He had been checking in on his antique teacup collection.

11:19 p.m., 31000 block of W I-10 – A caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. It was found that the vehicle belonged to an employee.

MARCH 3

12:16 p.m., 1300 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported being struck from behind in her vehicle. There were no injuries but assistance with traffic control was requested.

3:45 p.m., 31000 block of W. I-10 – A car dealership reported a vehicle had been stolen over the weekend.

6:35 p.m., mile marker 539 W. I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle hit his vehicle, but continued driving. The accident actually occurred in San Antonio and the caller was instructed to file with the correct agency.

6:40 p.m., 1600 block of River Road – A caller reported a male entered and tried to make a purchase worth $1,000. The first card the caller tried was reported to be lost or stolen. The caller had multiple cards on him and was able to finally make his purchase.

MARCH 4

10:41 a.m., on Main Street/Crosspoint – A male was detained during a traffic stop. The male was detained and put into custody.

3:22 p.m., 200 block of W. Bandera Road – Two employees were reported to be in the parking lot, smoking marijuana.

10:12 p.m., 100 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported seeing two people trespassing at the location that were trying to move furniture.

FAIR OAKS RANCH POLICE DEPARTMENT

FEBRUARY 24

-- An animal call was made to Triple Crown for a skunk incident.

-- Animal call, a loose dog, was made to the Wild Oak Hill and Rolling Acres Trail area.

-- Officers assisted the public with a matter on Dietz Elkhorn Road.

-- A vehicle accident was reported on W. I-10.

-- Officers assisted EMS on Cibolo View.

FEBRUARY 25

-- An animal call was made to Timber Top Drive.

-- Police responded to a call about an injured deer on Sky Blue Ridge.

-- A deer call was made on Fairway Green for a deer that was on the caller’s property.

-- A traffic hazard was reported on Ammann Road, at Rolling Acres Trail.

FEBRUARY 26

-- A vehicle collision was reported on Ralph Fair Road.

-- A traffic hazard was reported at Square Gate and Dietz Elkhorn.

-- A collision was reported at Fair Oaks Parkway and Ralph Fair Road.

-- Officers assisted EMS at Setterfield and Graford Ridge.

FEBRUARY 27

-- Officers assisted EMS at Setterfield, Graford Ridge and No Le Hace.

-- Homeowners needed assistance with an injured deer on Silver Spur Trail.

FEBRUARY 28

-- A loose dog was reported to be running amuck at Pimlico and Turf Paradise.

-- Law enforcement assisted the public with an issue at Fairway Valley and Battle Intense.

MARCH 1

-- An injured deer was reported on Delta Dawn.

-- Officer assisted citizens with a civil matter on Sweetwind Circle.

-- A goat had gotten itself in quite the predicament when it needed to be rescued from a tree.

-- A lift assist was given on Fairway Bluff.

MARCH 2

-- An arrest was made on Capstone Walk for a motorist attempting to evade arrest. The motorist was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, failing to stop at the scene of an accident, and reckless driving.

-- An animal call was made for a racoon at Timber Top Drive.

-- An injured dog was the reason for a call to a property on Rolling Acres Trail.

-- A theft was reported on Fair Oaks Parkway.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

FEBRUARY 25

7:17 a.m., on Highway 46 East/FM 3351 – A vehicle was impounded after it was found the driver did not have a driver’s license or insurance.

11:33 a.m., on N. Highway 87 – A caller reported $900 in fraudulent credit card charges made to his account.

1:02 p.m., Science Loop/Vallerie Lane – An empty 18-wheeler was impounded after it was found there was no insurance, the vehicle’s registration had expired, and the driver did not have a commercial driver’s license.

1:10 p.m., 100 block of Mark Twain Drive – A large brush fire was reported. The caller mentioned that it was potentially due to a mower overheating. Boerne F.D. responded to the location.

FEBRUARY 26

11:00 a.m., 900 block of E. Highway 46 – A caller reported finding a dog at the county line. The caller said another pooch had been hit by a vehicle, and the caller did not want the same thing to happen to this dog.

12:33 a.m., 33000 block of E. I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle scraped the side of her vehicle, but kept going.

2:49 p.m., 500 block of Sunflower – A caller reported she was being bullied at school, work and her apartment.

3:02 p.m., 100 block of Brandt Road – A caller reported seeing a male dressed in a police costume, carrying a gun.

FEBRUARY 27

7:17 a.m., 51000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported seeing a smoking vehicle in the ditch with an unconscious man inside. A second vehicle was reported to be damaged, too. Tow trucks were called for the vehicles.

8:09 a.m., 1000 block of Rio Brazos Drive – A caller reported a trapped ringtail cat.

10:30 a.m., 1700 block of FM 1376 – A caller reported a barn fire. Black smoke was reported to be coming from the location. Sisterdale F.D.., Comfort F.D., Waring F.D. and Boerne F.D. responded.

12:53 p.m., 200 block of Mesquite Trail – A caller reported a vehicle parked on the other side of the street with a sunshade in its window. The caller said no one had gotten out of the vehicle, causing the caller’s concern.

FEBRUARY 28

7:45 a.m., 200 block of FM 1376 – A caller reported a dog running loose in the area. Animal Control was contacted.

9:15 a.m., 400 block of Front Street – A caller reported that multiple posters had been stolen from the location 10:10 a.m., 400 block of N. Highway 87 – A goat was outside, trying to figure out its Friday night plans.

MARCH 1

12:22 a.m., 500 block of E. Highway 46 – Law enforcement investigated a phone call about street signs being removed. It was found that they were pouring concrete to install the signs.

3:02 a.m., 200 block of FM 474 – A sobriety test was administered on a driver pulled over for a traffic stop. The driver was detained.

11:16 a.m., 200 block of W. Highway 46 – A caller reported a motorcyclist who was passing vehicles in a no passing zone.

MARCH 2

12:12 a.m., on Highway 46/Pleasant Valley Drive – A male was detained during a traffic stop.

12:57 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported a vehicle had been following her from Bandera. The caller said the other party had been driving recklessly.

5:47 p.m., on Sky Rose Ranch Road – A caller reported a woman at the location who was jumping out in front of vehicles as the sun was setting.

6:25 p.m., 200 block of Mill Dam Road – A caller reported hearing gunshots in the area. The caller was concerned as there was no one living in the area the gunshots were coming from.

MARCH 3

12:32 p.m., 100 block of Curry Creek Road – A caller reported seeing three trash bags on the side of the road. The caller expressed concern over the contents of the bag. Officers found that although the bags did not contain human remains, they did contain an unrecognizable matter.

11:29 p.m., 600 block of Fifth Street – A male was detained during a probable cause search. No illegal contraband was found, and the male was free to go.

MARCH 4

5:44 a.m., 200 block River Oaks Road – A caller reported that a neighbor told her someone was on her property going back and forth between the caller’s vehicles in the carport.

7:48 a.m., 200 block of Bluebonnet Drive – A caller reported her neighbor’s cats had repeatedly come over and killed some of the caller’s cats.

10:28 a.m., 100 block of Mill Dam Road – A caller reported a motorbike that had repeatedly trespassed at the location.

6:11 p.m., on High Street Road – A caller reported a male walking up and down the road who was “acting like he was tweaking.”
