Both Boerne ISD varsity tennis teams were entered in the NEISD Spring Invitational at Blossom Athletic Center last weekend.
The Chargers and Greyhounds are off for a spell and aren’t playing this weekend and are also off for spring break this coming week.
They’ll both resume action in about two weeks on March 21 when BHS and CHS are entered in the Clark Invitational at the two Northside ISD tennis complexes.
At the NEISD tourney, Lauren Weisel and Zoe Gonzales had the best showing for Boerne High after they finished third in Flight 2 girls doubles.
For the Chargers, Greta Clauss and Ethan Wolf placed 2nd in Flight 1 mixed doubles.
Also, Ben Nicholson and Christian Okey defeated teammates Harper Wagner and Sam Haas in the Flight 2 boys doubles draw.
