Comfort was involved in several lopsided baseball games at last weekend’s Sonora Tournament.
The Bobcats went 2-1 in Sonora and won two games by a combined scored of 35-2 and suffered its only loss to Harper, 18-3.
Comfort is 5-2 overall and hosted Fredericksburg on Tuesday before visiting St. Mary’s Hall.
Comfort defeated Presidio, 17-0, to open the tourney. The Cats scored 17 runs on 10 hits and were led by Dax Stehling, who had a double and 2 singles, drove in 2 RBI and scored a run, while Noah Bohnert, Mason Matt and Brooks Davis all scored 3 runs.
Judd Lozano picked up the win in the game.
Harper handed the Bobcats an 18-3 defeat and scored in every inning.
For Comfort, Mason Matt doubled and singled, while Chad Woerner doubled.
Four different pitchers tossed in the game for Comfort.
Up next, Comfort defeated Sonora, 18-3.
Mason Matt tripled and scored three times, Gunner Carpenter singled, drove in 2 runs and scored 3 runs, while Brooks Davis plated 4 runs.
Cade Woerner started and went 2.2 innings to pick up the win from the mound and he struck out 4. Lozano closed it out in relief.
