BISD CANDIDATE FORUM: Four candidates for Boerne ISD Board of Trustee Places 4 and 5 will be the focus of this forum, hosted by the Kendall County Tea Party. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Heath Public Library community room.
NPSOT CHAPTER MEETING at Herff Road, 33 Herff Farm, from 6-8 p.m. as Krystie Miner, of Bat Conservation International Bracken Cave Preserve in San Antonio, will unravel the myths and facts surrounding these fascinating creatures. Social time begins at 6 p.m. with announcements at 6:35 p.m., preceding the speaker.

WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION: Ladies, come celebrate International Women’s Day with five strong women with stories to tell of their lives, their success and their hopes for the future, from 10-11 a.m. at the Heath Library, 415 N. Main St. Light snacks, and a champagne toast scheduled.
MOVIE IN THE PARK presented by Boerne Parks and Recreation. Grab a chair or a favorite comfy blanket and some snacks and get to Main Plaza to enjoy the showing of “Cars.”The pre-movie activities will begin at 6 p.m.; this is a free event for the community.
FAMILY NIGHT HIKE: Head to the Cibolo Nature Center, 33 Herff Road, beginning at 6:15 p.m. to hike the trails at sunset. Night hikes for families accommodate short legs and short attention spans while still learning about and enjoying The Cibolo. Cost is $30 per family and applies to parents, grandparents, children — bring the whole family. DEVINO WINE TASTING: Join the team at DeVino Cellars, 1109 S. CELEBRATION POP-UP MARKET: Celebrate another amazing year of serving the Boerne community and visitors from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the Shoppes at 222, 222 S. Main St., while shopping at this special “pop-up market.”
STORYTIME WITH MS. Constance at the Herff Farm, 33 Herff Road, begins at 10:30 a.m. The theme will be “Dinosaurs.”
ORGANIC GARDENING SERIES: The Organic Gardening Series is designed to provide practical skills and knowledge for gardening enthusiasts of all levels. BLUEGRASS JAM: Bring an instrument or just come to listen to the Bluegrass jams from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. while exploring the exhibits and grounds of The AgriCultural Center and Arts Museum, 102 City Park Road. The jam is free to the public, but donations are certainly welcome.
