LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT 

FEBRUARY 5

12:15 a.m., 100 block of Herff Road – A caller reported a SUV had something wrapped around a door handle. The caller was concerned the vehicle had something to do with human trafficking.

3:02 p.m., 100 block of Oak Haven – A caller reported her sister’s friends had been harassing her via phone calls.

3:33 p.m., 100 block of S. Main Street – A resident reported finding a wallet on a walking trail in tow 7:18 p.m., 31000 block of W. Interstate 10 – A caller reported a driver at the gas station who was not speaking coherently. Another caller reported the woman left her vehicle and had decided to roam around. Law enforcement came to the location and detained the woman.

FEBRUARY 6

7:02 a.m., 700 block of Johns Road – A caller reported a vehicle was slowly driving the wrong way on the road.

11 a.m., 1400 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported another vehicle pulled up next to the caller and then punched the caller’s passenger side window.

7:05 p.m., 100 block of W. Hosack Street – A caller reported her son’s vehicle was broken into and his wallet was stolen.

9:19 p.m., 100 block of Shadow Knoll – A caller was concerned her neighbors left their garage doors open two nights in a row, with a vehicle inside and lights on. Law enforcement came and found the residence was secure.

FEBRUARY 7

9:08 a.m., 200 block of Market Street – An employee reported an unknown male was at the location and was walking around the property.

1:14 p.m., 34000 block of W I-10 – A caller reported a male at the location was asking people at the location for a ride. It quickly shifted to a medical emergency and EMS was contacted.

5:35 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported a male pulled in behind her vehicle and was attempting to intimidate her.

6:28 p.m., 600 block of S. School Street – A caller reported seeing a group of teenagers in an abandoned building and heard glass breaking. Some of the juveniles made a run for it but all were located by law enforcement.

FEBRUARY 8

6:33 a.m., 100 block of City Lake – A caller reported vandalism to the gate and the dog waste refuse container.

10:39 a.m., 30 block of Herff Road – A caller reported a reckless motorist was driving all over the road and into oncoming traffic.

11:39 a.m., 100 block of Herff Road – A caller reported a guest had suddenly found a variety of things wrong with his room as he was checking out, looking for a free stay.

1:48 p.m., 500 block of Fabra Lane – A caller reported a stray cat in the area. The caller was able to temporarily keep the cat but could not keep it long term.

FEBRUARY 9

4:14 a.m., 700 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported a vehicle was driving with one flat tire and taking up both lanes of the road.

10:10 a.m., 200 block of Sophia Circle – A caller reported receiving an alert that the house camera had been removed and that an individual was going into the house. The called further added that this was not the first time this had occurred.

10:24 a.m., 100 block of Capano Creek – A caller reported their meter was leaking gas because she could smell it. Boerne FD came to the location and did not find a leak.

11:15 p.m., 100 block of Sharon Drive – A caller reported her neighbor was shining a light into the caller’s bedroom. The caller said this was not the first time this had occurred.

FEBRUARY 10

4:52 a.m., 1500 block of River Road – A caller reported that while on his morning run, he noticed a male behind a restaurant. When the caller returned, he saw the male again.

7:18 a.m., 1500 block of River Road – A caller reported a male at the location who was acting odd and pacing back and forth between the two restaurants.

10:32 a.m., 34000 block of W I-10 – A caller reported their vehicle had been hit while it was parked overnight. The caller said it was a rental vehicle.

2:54 p.m., 600 block of W Bandera Road – A caller reported two trucks with trailers were chasing an emu. The caller said another male had run after the emu with an air rifle.

FEBRUARY 11

6:27 a.m., 800 block of Johns Road – A caller reported odd activity at an apartment building in the complex. The caller said several vehicles had been out all night.

7:47 a.m., 1400 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported a neighboring business had been broken into. The caller said the door to the location had been shattered and there were rocks on the ground.

8:58 a.m., 1000 block of Grand Boulevard – A caller said someone alerted her to damage done to her car. The caller told dispatch a coworker had seen the accident occur and she knew who was driving the other vehicle.

11:13 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported receiving texts and phone calls from an unknown phone number.

5:32 p.m., on Greyhound Lane – A caller reported her headphones had been stolen while she was at a track meet.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE 

FEBRUARY 5

12:33 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – An employee reported an individual who had shoplifted earlier that day, had returned. The suspect’s license plate number was provided to police.

8:32 a.m., at FM 3351/Highway 46 – A caller reported a collision involving two vehicles. Both vehicles were still drivable and drove inro a nearby parking lot 11:47 a.m., 200 block of Acker Road – A horse was blocking the road, evidently wanting to keep it all to himself.

3:36 p.m., 500 block of W. Highway 46 – A caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the neighborhood. The caller was concerned as there had recently been several thefts in the area.

FEBRUARY 6

8:13 a.m., 400 block of Comfort Place – A caller reported a dog was guarding the mailboxes, preventing the caller from getting his mail.

11:17 a.m., 100 block of N. Someday Drive – A mail carrier reported a confused older woman was following him around. EMS was contacted and checked out the woman.

12:56 p.m., on N. Highway 87 – A caller reported a horse trailer filled with personal belongings had been dumped on the property.

8:42 p.m., mile marker 531 W. I-10 – A caller reported a male climbing trees in the area. When law enforcement came to the location, they did not observe any tree climbing.

FEBRUARY 7

7:33 a.m., at Loop 1087/Shady Oak – A caller reported an 18-wheeler was blocking the road. The rig was gone by the time law enforcement arrived.

8:24 a.m., 100 block of Shooting Club Road – A caller reported a male was coming on the location to use their Wi-Fi. Law enforcement came to the location and detained the male.

1:35 p.m., on N. Highway 87 – A bus driver reported a passenger became irate after he had been caught smoking on the bus.

11:49 p.m., mile marker 527 W. I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle that passed them on the way home was now parked under the bridge. Law enforcement located the vehicle and found it had broken down. Deputies helped push the vehicle off of the road.

FEBRUARY 8

6:11 a.m., mile marker 524 W. I-10 – A caller was concerned about a possibly inebriated driver who was not staying in one lane and was not maintaining a consistent speed.

1:03 p.m., mile marker 537 W. I-10 – A caller reported their brakes were potentially on fire. The caller found that his brakes were not on fire, but his trailer hub had overheated.

8:04 p.m., 100 block of Blaschke Road – A caller reported a stray cat scratched her and she was worried about getting rabies. The caller was unable to capture the cat.

8:10 p.m., 100 block of Bluebonnet Drive – A caller reported that someone had taken a vehicle that morning to test drive it but had not returned.

FEBRUARY 9

12:37 a.m., on Blanco Road/Esser Road – A caller reported a suspicious person in the area. The male was located and was detained.

2:26 a.m., 100 block of Grazing Meadow – A caller reported a vehicle had backed into a garage at a construction site, and that cabinetry was being loaded into the bed of the pickup. Law enforcement came to the location and the men were detained.

2:49 a.m., 31000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported a male at the location who wouldn’t leave the bar. The caller said the man only had two drinks but did not seem capable of driving. Law enforcement located the male and he was detained.

11:18 a.m., 100 block of Emerald Hill – A caller reported his neighbor’s dogs have been attacking the caller’s dog, and it has been an ongoing issue.

FEBRUARY 10

1:56 p.m., 1100 block of FM 1376 – A caller reported a vehicle driving all over the road and almost hitting a guardrail. Law enforcement looked for the vehicle but could not locate it.

9:53 p.m., 500 block of N. Highway 87 – A one-vehicle rollover was reported. An ambulance and EMS were called to the scene.

FEBRUARY 11

10:10 a.m., 800 block of E. Highway 46 – A caller reported an individual at a business where she used to work had been using her Social Security number for about two years.

11:13 a.m., 100 block of Alonzo – A caller came in to file a report for a stolen wallet. The caller said all of his methods of identification were in the wallet.

11:21 a.m., on N. Highway 87 – A caller reported two men were following her. She said when she had come out of the gas station, they were leaning on her car. The caller said they began to follow her when she was driving away.

7:59 p.m., 200 block of Someday Drive – A caller reported a neighbor had sprayed his dog with pepper spray earlier that evening.
