ADULT NIGHT HIKE at Cibolo Nature Center: Join The Cibolo, 140 City Park Road, to hike the trails at sunset. Hike begins about a half-hour before sunset. The adult night hikes are longer hikes, using unfamiliar trails. Expect to spend time without flashlights, hoping for views nocturnal wildlife. Cost is $15 per adult. Register at: cibolo.org.

FIRST POLAR PLUNGE: “Freezin’ For A Reason” is the theme as brave souls“take the plunge”in Boerne Lake to support more than 2,000 local Special Olympics Texas athletes in this ice-cold fundraiser.
