Not only has the Geneva School of Boerne girls basketball team won five straight district championships, but they’ve gone undefeated in league play during that stretch.
Geneva closed out district play Monday at Holy Cross and crowned the Knights 107-12 for their fifth consecutive league crown without a loss.
The Eagles are 64-0 in district dating back to 2021 when the streak started.
Geneva finishes this season at 12-0 in district and 27-4 overall. They’ll open the playoffs Tuesday at home against Pasadena First Baptist Christian Academy, 6 p.m.

Geneva coach Aamir McCleary said they weren’t trying to run up the score against Holy Cross, but noted the Knights had a lot of turnovers, which resulted in 35 Geneva steals that went the other way for a lot of easy transition buckets.
Geneva had three players in double figures after Maegan Riebel scored 33 points, Kyra Petty added 23 and Grace Detterick netted 17.
Morgan Howard scored 9, Sopris Ogelsby had 8, Madeline Egbert finished with 6, Reese Smith chipped in with 3 and Amelia Morgan hit for 2.
