The Boerne track and field teams were entered in the Jacket Relays in Llano before the break and made it a clean sweep after all four teams captured first place.
Varsity Boys
The Hounds tallied 139 points where at least nine teams scored a point and the Hounds topped second-place Lampasas by more than 30 points (108.5).
Chase Balderas won the 1600 in 5:06, Caleb Benchoff was 3rd in 5:09 and Tayson Farar came in 4th in 5:10.
Balderas also won the 3200 in 11:03, Farar took 3rd in 11:36 and Cole Palmer finished 4th in 11:44.
Colby Brown won the 200 in 24.22 and Charlie Stahl was 3rd in 25.28, Bode Brown placed 4th in the 400 in 55.46 and Will French came in 6th in the race in 55.50.
McCoy Bruce clocked in at 18.04 in the 110 hurdles for 5th and Bruce was 4th in the 300 hurdles in 45.20, while Caleb Hamby took 6th in the 300 hurdles in 46.97.
Hunter Freeman and Parker Powell went 5-6 in the 800 with times of 2:17.15 and 2:18.82.
BHS won the 4x100 after Braden Baize, Colby Brown, Cash McPeak and Charlie Stahl teamed up for a 44.07, while Baize, Stahl, McPeak and Brown were 4th in the 4x200 with a time of 1:34.17.
Also, the 4x400 of Hunter Freeman, Bode Brown, Will French and McCoy Bruce teamed up for 4th with a 3:41.83.
Weston Klutts placed 3rd in the long jump and went 18-7, Asher Diller was second in the shot put with a toss of 45-5.5, Caden Fisher was 4th in the shot with a throw of 44-3.5 and Fisher also came in 3rd in the discus with a throw of 122-5, while McCoy Bruce took 2nd in the pole vault after clearing 10-0.
Varsity Girls
The Boerne girls scored 137 points to beat Mason by 9 points.
Samara Koening won the 100 in 13.65 and also finished 5th in the 200 with a 28.65.
Mary Marino won the 1600 in 5:37 and took 1st in the 800 with a 2:28, while Eleanor Davis was 2nd in the 1600 with a 5:40 and Davis also won the 3200 in 12:21. Also, Caroline Baldwin finished 6th in the 800 with a 2:42.
The 4x100 relay of Ashlyn Moore, Anna Marino, Riley Scheidt and Samara Koening teamed up for 4th in 52.82, while the 4x400 relay of Maddie Morris Hayden Chappell, Sophia Brumley and Kassie Lozano combined for a 4:15 for 2nd and the 4x200 took 1st after Scheidt, Savannah Seibert, Brumley and Lozano recorded a 1:50.11.
Tori Adams won the shot put with a throw of 41-6 and Averi Aaron was 3rd with a throw of 33-9.5, and in the discus, Adams was 3rd with a 110-4 and Aaron finished 4th in 96-4.
Allie Browning went 31-9 in the triple jump for 4th, while Kayuki Warren placed 2nd in the pole vault after clearing 9-6 and Katie Schickedanz was 4th after vaulting 8-6.
