LAW ENFORCEMENT
The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. May 10
2:07 p.m., 31400 block I-10 W.- A man wanted to know what could be done about his missing truck bed cover that went flying off when it was towed.
3:29 p.m., 1 Greyhound Lane- A student and Boerne High was found to be in possession of tobacco.
6:39 p.m., 711 River Rd.- A woman called 911 to report she was having a hard time with her 16-year-old son who she said was arguing with her. Dispatchers noted they could hear her son calmly asking her not to call the police.

5:45 a.m., 100 block Ranger Creek Rd.- A man was upset about construction workers in the Shoreline subdivision moving their equipment around “causing a disturbance.”
10:30 a.m., Boerne- A woman reported a sexual assault with two victims aged 9 and 10 that allegedly occurred April 5.
11:51 p.m., 34935 I-10 W.- One guest needed to report his wallet stolen, but he was accusing another guest of taking it.
May 12
6:23 a.m., 540 MM I-10 E.- A vehicle was seen entering an eastbound lane of the interstate heading west, but officers were unable to locate the wrong-way driver.
8:04 a.m., 1330 S. Main St.- A woman suspected a man was high because he was dancing outside Discount Tire with his family, including two children.
10:20 a.m., 124 Old San Antonio Rd.- A sexual offense in Boerne was reported at the Boerne Police Department.
3:59 p.m., 121 Old San Antonio Rd.- A 14-year-old resident at the Roy Maas Youth Alternative Center warranted extra assistance after he had been restrained once by staff but got loose. The teenager was reportedly hitting and spitting at staff and making threats.
8:06 p.m., 1381 S. Main St.- A woman initially reported someone walked off with the keys to her Nissan Versa that she left behind on the home and pharmacy side of the grocery store, but she found them about 4 minutes later before officers could arrive.
May 13
12:05 a.m., Industrial Drive and I-10- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop after a positive K9 alert.
6:26 a.m., 135 Old San Antonio Rd.- A blue 2021 VW Jetta was reported stolen from the apartment complex sometime overnight.
9:08 a.m., 800 block E. Blanco Rd.- An employee at a cleaner on Blanco Road reported a bike that had been tied to a tree across the street for a month. An officer said they would not cut the lock to remove the bike.
12:50 p.m., 135 Old San Antonio Rd.- A woman reported an 11-year-old boy had been “stealing money over the years from family members.”
1:14 p.m., 100 City Lake- A city employee snitched on someone barbequing at the lake when they weren’t supposed to be.
4:13 p.m., 100 City Lake- An individual was arrested after a man reported six men and five women were trying to fight him at the lake while he was with his 5-year-old son after he asked them to move away from a private party he was having. At one point, he did threaten to shoot them with the gun he had in his car.
4:58 p.m., 400 block S. Main St.- A woman thought a man who appeared “very dirty” who was wearing a flannel shirt, jeans and no shoes was “out of place.”
9:16 p.m., 37100 block I-10 E.- An individual was taken into custody after someone reported a man passed out in his truck.
11:34 p.m., 621 W. Bandera Rd.- A resident reported a bunch of teens were honking their horns in the parking lot and said it seemed like they were racing.

May 10
2:04 a.m., 100 block Idlewilde Blvd.- A woman reported her neighbor took her cat, put in a cage in the sun and killed it.
10:40 a.m., 100 block Crossfire- A man let deputies know $900 worth of construction materials were stolen. He didn’t want to pursue charges but wanted to report it for insurance purposes only.
3:23 p.m., 100 block Magnolia Circle- A woman wanted to know what her options were for a previous tenant who destroyed her carpet.
5:57 p.m., 100 block Swede Creek- An employee at Baptist Hospital reported a man shot himself on accident on a jobsite in Boerne.
11:14 p.m., 1029 Hwy 87 S.- A man tried to get into a woman’s car after going in and out of the store and talking to himself.
May 11
9:02 a.m., 533 MM I-10 W.- A trailer disconnected from a truck and rolled into the median on the interstate.
1:04 p.m., 200 block Tiltwood- A man arrived at his father’s home and found him deceased.
3:13 p.m., 300 block Los Indios Ranch Rd.- A man was arrested when deputies served a warrant.
4:06 p.m., 522 MM I-10 W.- A man and woman were detained during a traffic stop. The vehicle was towed, and deputies gave the woman a courtesy ride to the Love’s Travel Stop in Comfort.
6:40 p.m., 20 block FM 474- A woman was concerned some cows might make a run for it when she noticed they were inching their way toward a gate that was left open.
May 12
9:34 a.m., 10000 block Johns Rd.- A woman reported horses hanging out on the road, but she didn’t say how many as she “just kept trying to get off the phone.” Deputies rounded up two horses.
2:21 p.m., 100 block Sparry Hawk Trail- A resident reported their 2012 Buick Murano stolen. They had lent the vehicle to their nephew who in turn lent it to someone else, something the owner didn’t approve of.
2:26 p.m., 528 MM I-10 E.- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
2:48 p.m., 531 MM I-10 W.- An officer requested emergency services for a man who ingested an unknown amount of heroin, estimating he may have consumed about three grams.
5:22 p.m., 100 block Kendall Falls Rd.- Two donkeys found greener pastures in Kendall Falls, but they didn’t get to graze for long.
5:50 p.m., 100 block Honeycomb Dr.- A high school student informed deputies his parents might report him missing at 9 p.m., saying they told him to be home at that time. He said he was afraid to go home because they have threatened to hit him. The mother called deputies around 11:30 p.m. asking what her rights were as his parent, and he and the boy’s father followed him and his friends around town for a while. Eventually, the parents parked in front of the boy’s friend’s house before heading back home at 12:39 a.m. The father then got in an accident resulting in minor injuries at 1:10 a.m. The boy was 18-year-old.

10:38 a.m., 100 block Thunder Valley- A woman was concerned about animals that appeared underfed.
5:56 p.m., 8600 block FM 1888- A woman was concerned a dozen longhorns might create at least a dozen problems if they got out of their gate that was left open.
10:14 p.m., 533 MM I-10 E.- A woman was arrested and booked for driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age after a traffic stop. Her husband was called to pick up her son and vehicle.
