The Boerne Champion girls basketball team doubled its pleasure Friday night when the Lady Chargers visited San Antonio for a district game.

A capacity crowd was on hand Friday night at Charger Gym to watch the Champion boys basketball team tangle with rival Alamo Heights.

The Boerne High girls soccer squad played in its final tournament of the regular season after they were entered in the Governor’s Cup tourney in the Austin area.

Boerne High had a very strong showing at the Progreso boys soccer tournament held last weekend in the Rio Grande Valley.

Boerne Champion divers Emma Haines and Colin Breuer both claimed individual titles at the District 18-5A dive meet held Tuesday in San Antonio. Haines won the girls title and Breuer claimed the boys championship. Both also earned Diver of the Meet honors for the second year in a row. Up next, the divers head to regionals.
